Key Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing for web, client-server, and mobile applications.
- Candidates must have hands-on experience in API testing using Postman.
- Exposure to automation testing using JavaScript and Selenium WebDriver is a plus.
- Good understanding of software testing processes and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to write detailed test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and test reports.
- Experience in database testing with the ability to write and execute SQL queries.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot defects effectively.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Mantis and Jira (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-location teams.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Performance/Load Testing experience using JMeter.
- Automation Testing using Selenium (Java).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality, functionality, reliability, usability, and security of software products.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases following systematic QA methodologies.
- Perform API testing using Postman to validate backend services and integrations.
- Write and review test cases to ensure complete test coverage.
- Conduct regression testing to maintain the integrity of existing functionalities.
- Analyze test results and report defects accurately and promptly.
- Write and execute SQL queries to support database testing.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
